Sweets at Le Bonbon au Palais

It's hard to resist the pastel colored candies in the window display at Le Bonbon au Palais--the sweetest candy shop offering a variety of regional candy from all over France.

The boutique is reminiscent of an old-fashioned candy store with a modern twist. The nostalgic design is inspired by the shop owner Georges' 1950s childhood classroom and his love for old fashioned sweets.

The shop carries a mix of well priced, hard-to-find, French candy and chocolate imaginatively displayed throughout the shop. Large glass containers are filled with colorful handmade marshmallows, licorice, caramels, lollipops, chocolate bars, and bonbons--of course!

One visit to Le Bonbon au Palais will make you a loyal customer with its friendly atmosphere and vast inventory of sweets. The tiny candy boutique is located at 19 Rue Monge in the 5th Arrondissement. Metro: Cardinal Lemoine.
